How I got here

My story has been a long and complicated one. I began in the place where many of us begin, diagnosed with mental illness that could never be “fixed”. Decades later I found myself surrounded by a life I didn’t create on purpose – one that was sucking me dry. During my healing journey, I was faced with a Shamanic Initiation that required me to quit my job and answer a deeper calling. I started a non-profit organization called Sacred Heart Medicine Sanctuary in 2018 to build community and offer free/low cost healing opportunities to those in need.

My educational background is in Law, Psychology, Craniosacral Therapy, Energy Healing and Massage Therapy. However, my professional experience has a wide range that includes helping those with schizophrenia function in the the world to supporting people in creating lives they didn’t know were possible. I have been mentoring, hosting community events, and running transformational retreats since 2018.

How did i learn how to be what i am?

While I have “learned” from Shamans of several different lineages, as well as attended a number of different types of trainings, my preferred path of learning is through direct contact with the “other side” and by following my Heart. This means working directly with everything that is unseen, including God – whatever that means to you
